Health Management Services holds annual meeting

Celebrating 96 years in home health care, Health Management Services, Inc. and its subsidiaries; All Care Visiting Nurse Association, All Care Hospice, All Care Resources, and All Care Adult Day Health Center hosted their Annual Meeting on Wednesday, May 7th at Spinelli’s.

All Care President and CEO, Shawn Potter, along with Chairman of the Board Jay Fenton, presented awards to two long standing Board Members, Josephine E. Hanson and Dorothy L. Lane for over 40 years of dedicated service.

Both women have been imperative to the success of this non-profit organization whose mission is to deliver top quality home health care to the Lynn community. Josephine and Dorothy were instrumental in numerous mergers over the years, forming subsidiaries of Health Management Services, Inc. The two remain valued members on the board and have served in leadership positions over the years.

Upon honoring Mrs. Hanson and Mrs. Lane, Potter additionally announced that All Care will be presenting employee awards annually in the Board Member’s name.

The Josephine E. Hanson Award for Excellence in Professional Achievement acknowledges an employee who demonstrates exceptional job performance and is committed to All Care’s mission, vision, and strategic plan. The employee conducts him/herself in a positive, and professional demeanor and strives for continued professional development and excellence.

The Dorothy L. Lane Award for Excellence in Outstanding Patient Care recognizes a member of the visiting staff who consistently and willingly goes above and beyond to make significant contributions to All Care patients, colleagues and the local community. The honoree demonstrates a strong commitment to the values of All Care through a caring and respectful attitude for patients and families entrusted to their care.

The awards will be presented at the Annual Dinner, beginning in 2009.
