All Care Hospice is committed to providing quality care using an interdisciplinary team approach through the end of life experience. Volunteers are an integral part of the hospice team and bring their talents and skills to our patients and families in many ways. Please download our VOLUNTEER FORM to inquire about All Care Hospice Volunteer Opportunities or contact Maureen Burge, Volunteer Coordinator at 781-244-1129.
Direct Care Volunteers
Volunteers offer friendly company to patients by engaging in activities, talking, or providing gentle presence and touch.
For caregivers who would welcome a break, volunteers are able to spend time with our patients offering companionship or gentle presence.
Walk a pet
For patients who have pets, volunteers can take pets for a walk while they visit with patients.
Light grocery shopping
Volunteers can grocery shop for patients.
Volunteers sit with patients and offer gentle presence in the last 24 – 48 hours of life. Volunteers may sit with patients who are alone, as well as with families who may need extra support.
Indirect Care Volunteers
Volunteers provide support in our main office by performing administrative tasks including computer data entry, mailings, filing, faxing, tuck-in calls…
